Uploaded: January 27, 2022
This Gorgeous 4 680 Ha Game Farm is situated approximately 30 Kilometers from Musina. This game farm boasts some riverfront and the topography consists of undulating terrain with small rocky ridges. The habitat consists of sweet bushveld and beautiful large trees. This is a wonderful opportunity to buy one of 15 shares in this game farm. The monthly levy is R 8559,21 (invoiced quarterly) and includes the reserve use rights at one of the camps, an additional R 4000,00 per month grants usage rights at another private camp. Rules are determined by the Reserve Biological Management Committee bound by the Protected Areas Act. Hunting is outsourced to a third-party contractor that is given an annual quota for organized and controlled hunting. Owners can hunt within reason, according to the hunting policy that applies to the PHNR from the annual quota at the wholesale prices set annually and game stock is owned by the Company. The game farm is situated in a safe area free from any undesirable elements. Each camp has its own manager that is there at all times, ensuring maintenance and safety of the assets, and two of the camps have permanent residents. The Game Farm has a Reserve Manager on the reserve permanently and there is a team of 11 staff there at all times. There are enough well-maintained roads to explore freely.
Improvements
- There are seven private lodges on the Reserve. One of these is a communal camp available to all shareholders to lease based on a booking roster. It is also used mainly by the hunting concession outfitter.
- Also on offer is a joint (5 leaseholders) exclusive use lease in a Private Camp that has double en-suite units and a main camp kitchen, dining and boma area with a splash pool, situated on the banks of a tributary of the Limpopo, the Nzhelele River.
- Eskom power is available and solar power is actively being installed where possible in order to move to a more self sufficient position. This is ongoing.
- Water is pumped from the subterranean wells under the Limpopo River into the farm and an extensive solar-gravity fed water reticulation system program has just been completed for this purpose.
- All loose assets are part of the greater company ownership structure. If a lease is taken up with the private camp, then there is also a one third share in a game drive vehicle that is located to that camp.
