The veld consists of sweet veld with deep soil and many big trees such as marula, leadwood (hardekool), red bush willow (rooibos), knobthorn (knoppiesdoring)etc. In certain areas, the veld will have to be rested for a while in order for the grass to recover to an optimal state. Kudu and impala as well as small game like duiker steenbuck warthog etc can be found on the farm.
